How to activate quite/silent mode?
Long press # key shall activate the quite mode. To switch back to original profile long Press # again.

Please check below mentioned points
i. SIM card validity and network availability at your area
ii. Check Menu >> Settings >> Call set up >> Caller Id not be “Hide No” at any point of time
iii. Check for outgoing call barring option in settings>> network set up>> outing calls

Airtel SIM card is not working in my handset? What is the problem?
Please check the BAND in which your mobile phone is working. For operators like Airtel, BSNL & Spice it should be set to 900 and for Hutch it should be 1800. It is always advisable to keep in DUAL BAND mode. Path: Menu>>Settings >> Network Setup >> Band Selection.

How do I get good battery backup?
a. By charging the battery up to 6 hrs for the first time and subsequently 2 hrs.
b. Charging the battery only after complete discharge of battery.
c. Should not remove the battery more often.

Which Spice Phones Have FM Radio?
Spice Mobile Phones S-450, S-540, S-900 & S-909 have FM Radio Feature.

How do I turn on the FM Radio in the Spice S-450, S-540, S-900 and S-909?
The FM radio can be turned on by long Press of the Hot Key ‘0’ on the keypad in the idle mode. The ‘0’ Key enables the toggle between FM ON/OFF function Please make sure that you have the Stereo headsets plugged in the headset jack as this serves the purpose of FM antenna.

Where are the videos stored in my Spice camera phone?
By default the Videos are stored in the Phone memory in the folder Named: Video in the File Manager. However this default storage can be changed to storage in any new folder which can be created in the internal memory of the phone or an external memory card.

Which file formats does the Media player support?
The media player supports: 3GP, MP4 & H.263 Format of Video Playback

Which Spice phones can play videos?
Spice Mobile Phone S-800, S-8, S-808, S-900 and S-909 can play videos in standard video formats such as .3GP, MPEG4 and H.263 which are stored in the phone. The videos can be downloaded to the phone Memory/ Memory card with the help of USB connectivity from any PC/Laptop.

On which spice phones can I watch Wide Screen Video?
Yes, in all camara phones while playing the Video on the Media player press * on the keypad to enter/exit the full screen mode.

What is Video Caller ID?
Video Caller ID is a special feature on all Spice Camera Phones. This feature enables a user to attach a video which is stored in the Phone memory with the contact in the phonebook. The video to be associated can be a recorded video from the phone camera or the user can also use a downloaded clip/video. Whenever the caller in with whom the video has been associated will call the video shall play on the screen.

Which Spice Phones Have the Video Caller ID Feature?
Currently the Spice Mobile Phone S-800, S-8, S-808, S-900 & S-909 have the Video caller ID Feature.

Which spice phones have integrated cameras?
Spice S-800, S-808 has 1.3 Mega pixels Camera and S-8, S-900, and S-909 have 2 Mega pixels Camera.

Where are the pictures stored after clicking it with Spice Camera Phone?

The Picture Size can be changed. Please follow the following process:

Turn on the Camera by pressing the Camera Hot Key. Press OptionàImage SettingsàPress OKàImage SizeàChange the image sizeàSelect the ImageàPress OK. The image size is set.

Shortcut: The image size can also be set by pressing KEY No.6 on the keypad while taking the picture.

Yes. The user can add Picture, Personal Ringtone to the selected contact in the phonebook.

Can I add ‘Voice Recording’ as a Ringtone?
Yes, you can but only which have internal memory to store.

Can Spice Phones be used to store data files other than Music/Audio & Video?
Yes. Spice Phones S-600, S-800, S-8, S-808, S-640, S-900, S-909 can be used to store and transfer data files, just like with the help of a Memory Stick.

Which Spice Phones support External Memory Card Storage?
External Memory storage is available on the S-800, S-8, S-900, S-909 and S-1000.

What is a Data Cable?
Data Cable is the interface between your PC and phone. Data cable is a Media which transfers the data from your PC to phone and vise versa.

Where do I get the SW to connect the Phone to the PC?
There is no need to have third party SW to connect the phone to the PC for data transfer. The phone when connected to the PC/laptop via a USB data cable is recognized as a USB Memory device to enable Data transfer.

How do I configure the GPRS on my Computer/Laptop?
The SOP or the procedure for connecting the Spice phones for GPRS can be downloaded from our website http://www.spicemobile.in/software.aspx

Which Spice phones Support GPRS connectivity?
Spice Mobile phones S-555, S-600, S-640, S-808, S-800, S-8, S-900, S-909 & S-1000 support GPRS connectivity.

Can the mobile phone be used as a modem for PC Web Browsing?
Yes, Spice Mobile Phones S-555, S-600, S-640, S-808, S-800, S-8, S-900, S-909 & S-1000 can be used as a modem. You would need a Spice Data Cable and follow a procedure which you can download from ‘Product Troubleshooting’ section of the website.

How can we use GPRS/MMS/WAP Services in Spice Mobiles?
Before you make sure the services are activated from operator side,
Than follow as below:-
1. Go to Services MenuàWapàSettingsàEdit Profile,
2. You find list of operators, select according to your use,
3. Activate the Profile,

Do as below:-
a. Plug-in the data cable (provided with the handset) between Phone and Computer,
b. A pop up message shown (Mass Storage/Com Port) on your mobile.
c. Select Mass Storage
d. The removable Drive will appear on your My Computer.
e. Double click on it .Now it is ready for use.

Can I set one of my camera pictures as my display background picture?
Yes. In order to set wallpaper of the phone as the camera clicked picture please follow the following steps: In the idle mode Press Menu»Settings»Phone Setup»Display Characteristics»Wallpaper»User Define»Select Storage (Phone/Card)»Select the location of storage>»Select the File to be used»OK»OK to set as wallpaper.

Can I change the Skin of Audio/MP3 Player?
Yes, you can change Skins for Audio player goto Menu» Multimedia» Audio Player » List»Options»Settings»2nd option Skin, you can select one of 3 default skins.

How do I set MP3 Song as a Ring tone in spice phones?
