This bank is the biggest defaulter, biggest cheater, and operates with no business ethics. Thousands of cases are filed against them in various consumer courts across the country.
Never give them blank application forms with your signature if you are availing loan, credit card facility, or opening any account with them. They promise different terms verbally and then they will fill different terms in the blank form containing your signature. After this they will force you to agree to their terms of higher interest rates and tenure as you have already signed those papers. Never give them undated signed blank cheques. They will misuse the same, put different dates, and you will end up running to consumer courts as thousands of sufferers are already doing so. There have been cases where they had withdrawn the loan money from consumer’s account using his signed blank cheques.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I have lost the credit card on May30th. When I found that my card had been stolen, I had asked the ICICIBank to block my card on June1st. My credit card has a limit of 25,500Rs. I have done the transaction worth of 25,000 on 15th of May. When My credit card had been stolen by someone, The bank had allowed the thief to do a transaction worth of around 39,000.
I have several times asked the Bank to check the details. But they are saying, it has been done in favour of the bank and I ahve to pay the excess money. First let me know ,why should I pay the excess money(for which transactions I haven’t done). Actul credit limit for my card is 25,500. As I had done a worth of 25,001 Rs. Even after losing the card, the card has to allow the transactions worth of 25,500. But it has allowed the thief to do a transaction worth of 15,000Rs extra than the credit limit given on the card . And the card has my photo and signature also.
When I requested them, they have send me two transactions slips, where my signature won’t match at all. How come the bank allows the person to do a transaction which is exceeding the limit. How come the shopkeeper allows the thief allowed to do transactions which ahs exceeded limit, as it has my photo on it and signature also. Let me know , why should I take the liability? I ccan take the liability of upto 25,500RS as it is the card limit.
Please help me to do file a cheating case and charging the excess amount. Please guide me to go through it and let me know as it hasn’t cross the 60 days , how should I file the case in consumer forum or banking ombudsmen? Please do the needful things.

Dear Sir,
I, am Balaji B, have taken homeloan from ICICI Bank.
It was agreed that the final interest rate is average
ROI of the various disbursements.
There is a special offer to corporates and there was
0.25% discount for my company employess. With that
rate, I am supposed to get weighted average of 8.25%
and 8.75%. But ICICI bank has taken 9% as ROI for
second disbursement and taken weighted average.
I gave a complaint 9 months ago to modify the same.
But there were no reply for 8 months. I again went and
gave a complaint 1 month ago and there were no reply
since month and today they replied saying they sent a
request to Chennai and processing. As soon as I raise
a complaint, they sent SMS message saying they will
get back to in 10 days. But they didn’t get back to me
in 10 days. More than that they did not close my
complaint yet.
There are basically 2 issues :
1> Time to respond customer and closing the complaint
2> Wrong Interest rate (but I dont have any agreed
interest rate for the second disbursement). There is a
agent between customer and ICICI bank who also
mentioned that it was 8.75%.
I am majorly disturbed through first issue. ie turn
around time to customer. I have a proof for 2
complaints I have given them.
Requesting to provide information whether I have all
the capabilities to issue a notice to ICICI Bank. Also
how do I proceed further for serious step on ICICI
Bank.

I am not a professional writer, so i don’t know how to start. but i will like to register a complaint against ICICI bank.
I have loan from ICICI bank & the installments goes automatically from my salary’s a/c through the eds system. each month i get collection call & collection mail that they haven’t received my payment.when i do have money available in my a/c sufficintly in good amount.i have contacted my personal bank which is citi bank they say that there is no problem from their side. but ICICI says that they have the problem with their eds system with the bank.
i have taken a car loan & i have received a collection notice also from ICICI that they will pick up my car.
Although i am paying them by cash each month i do have the receipts with me availabe & collection notice is also there with me.
May be in future when my loan will be about to end ICICI can come up with the formula of cheating with the customer, that they haven’t received the installments. or there money.
I am really disturbed by ICICI’s this action
pls.look into it.hoping for the best.

I was issued the card under reference in the month of November 2003. Since then
I have been using it and making the payment (though initially I couldn’t make
the payment due to shifting of my residence and I was intimated the same to
ICICI Bank) due to non availability of the statement. But I am making the
payments since then.
In the month of June / July 2004, I have made a request to the customer care
service of ICICI bank for final settlement of credit card, they said they will
get back to me in a couple of days time for the settlement amount. Since then
am requesting them with regard to the settlement. Every month the call comes
from ICICI bank for making the payment (infact they all say that “Sir you make
the payment for Rs.2000/- this time and we will get back to you in a couple of
days time. But neither have they contacted me nor I, because each time I call
them they are not in the office or never attend my calls!!!!) the last payment
i made to ICICI was OBC Cheque No 311722 dated 12 Jun 2006 for Rs.3000/- hoping
that they will do the needful!!! I believe this is because they want to only
get the money from the customers and in case if they settle any cases, they
will not be able to make the revenue to the bank!!!!! It’s a great strategy!!!
I really appreciate that!! At the same time you may kindly appreciate that I am
also an employee of a reputed organisation, but I never harass our customers,
who come to us with any problem. It is quite amazing that a bank like ICICI
doesn’t take care their customers). Some of the People who used to call (from

The so called Executives of ICICI Bank are very prompt to make the calls
shamelessly, inspite of the request that they have a request pending for
settlement!!! Very shameless people. And I am quite sure that the management
people do not know anything about the conversation, which, the so called
executives do with their customers!!!! It’s a sad state of affair and am very
sorry to say that am really fed up with these people with whom I have to
interact every month (because am always ashamed of myself to talk to them!)
Who ever calls me and take the payment says that my settlement case will be
done in a couple of days time, once they get approval from Mumbai. I don’t know
with whom they are taking the approval for the last 2 years!!!
I am sorry to say that I wont be paying a single penny in this situation and you
may kindly instruct your people not to call me unless a suitable reply is sent
from your side. I really don’t know who much is my total due to the bank,
infact in my life i have never received any statement from your bank!!but I can
only pay the amount, which I had conveyed a couple of years back, that too
after deducting my previous payments and the balance if any!!!!
I hope you will understand my present position and help me in this regard to get
rid of this situation and resolve the problem at the earliest!

Actually i need some advise from you about filling case in Consumer Forum.
I am working in Siemens, Gurgaon , Haryana.
I have taken a personal loan from ICICI bank, Delhi. Initially i signed an agreement with them at a loan interest of 13% for loan amount of 3.36 lac.
But when i received my loan money, it was less than what was written in the agreement. To check this, i requested a copy of agreement from bank.
When i got the copy, i found there there is some cuting in it. The loan rate of 13% is changed to 16%. With that they reduced the total loan amout.
i got the loan in month of May. From that time i have given so many phone calls to bank but they have not given any solution for this.
I am attaching the copy of agreement with this mail. Please have look into it(specially on page 2 ).
So please help me in this regard and give some advise how can i get the justice th’ Consumer Forum.

Recently when my son fell ill and was hospitalised. MY claim has been ejected saying that it was a pre existing disease. No rejection letter has been gien to me so far. I learnt about rejection when I called up the call centre . The females sitting at call centre are so rude. Since I have not received any rejection letter. I have planned to go to court.I have been cheated by your compnay. I am going to launch a compaign amont internet fraternity.

This is with regards to the Current Account held by us with ICICI Bank at Mapusa Branch-Goa. A/c No. 003005000273
I had issued a Cheque of Rs.14,00,000/- (Fourteen Lacks only) Crossed Cheque. To M/s Ace Brain Systems, Pune. On 6/3/06 and there was sufficient balance to get the Cheque cleared.
The said Cheque was cleared but on 26/4/06 my account was debited with Rs.3085.60 as RCA charges for March.
When I called up on Mr. Vivek (Branch Manager – ICICI Bank Mapusa) he informed me that the party to whom I had issued the Cheque deposited the said Cheque in Mapusa Branch, when actually they held a account with Pune branch of ICICI Bank.
Due to this it was treated as Account Transfer and hence my account was debited.
Wherein
1. At no point of time have I requested or authorised the bank for the above said account transfer.
2. Incase the second party has availed the facility wherein they can deposit the Cheque anywhere (Mapusa) in the ICICI network, the bank should have charged the same to that party for having availed this facility.
3. Incase I had issued the same Cheque to that party and had the party deposited the same Cheque to their UTI account I would not have been charged. So why have I been penalized now that both hold account with the same bank at two different location. Does this mean that I should deal only with people not having account with ICICI Bank
4. When I spoke to Mr. Vivek he BM he suggested that I should have stopped payments for that Cheque. Now I really don’t know where he got that logic. I had issued a Cheque with balance in my account in the intention of making payments to the party now why should the payments be stopped.
Kindly do the needful and get the entry reversed at the earliest.

I have a complaint against ICICI Lombard Insurance Company.
I applied for an credit card from ABN Amro Bank in June 2004. At the time of applying for card I was told about a product , a health policy for my family. Premium for which I had to pay through monthly installments of credit card. Since the scheme was attractive I signed on the application for same thing also. In first three months I did not receive any policy papers. Since I had not paid any premium from my pocket I was not very much concerned too and forgot to check the statement of credit card also. And I was in the impression that there had been no policy issued against my application. And during this time the marketing team of ABN Amro bank credit card again contacted and since the health policy I found very attractive I agreed to meet this marketing lady and signed the application for health policy again. This time I received I documents for my policy within 15 days of my application . Later when I checked the statement of my credit card I was shocked to see that two policies have been issued in my name but only papers of one policy have been delivered to me. And then I started following up on helpline nos. ( call center no. ) of ABN AMRO Bank for cancellation of one policy but after repeated calls , nothing fruitful happened and I kept on paying the installments for two policies. **Please note that a healthy family of only 3 people only, will never need two mediclaim policies at the same time ( in reality which are of no use at all ). When I got fed up of calling up help line nos. of ABN Amro Bank I somehow managed to have the contact no. ABN Amro Bank in Noida. By this time I had already paid 8 installments of Rs. 327-00. Their reoply was that they were helpless in this case and they had paid the premium to ICICI Lombard and I must contact the ICICI Lombard now to get my one of policies cancelled and for refund too. After that I started my follow up with ICICI Lombard. But from their help line no. too nothing concrete came out. And then I got a contact no. of one office of Mumbai. They told me to write an e mail to the address abnamrosupport@icicilomard.com . when I wrote them an e mail giving all details and requested them to cancel my one policy ; they asked me to send them a letter in this regard. Soon I sent them a letter through courier but the credit card statement never changed. I waited them for three months and again wrote them an email and again the reply came to send them a letter on this matter. So I replied that I had already sent them a letter and gave them the courier details and at the same time I checked with courier company too but report of courier company showed that this was letter was delivered at ICICI Lombard office after two days of dispatch. And again I sent them a letter through courier and sent through e mail a scanned copy , for cancellation of my extra policy . After this also I kept of sending them mails but nothing happened and finally gave up because it was a small amount Rs. 327-00 only per month for single policy , not a big deal.
In the month of May end / June 2006, my 5 years old son got a very severe infection in his stomach because of constipation which he had developed recently. He stopped eating and vomited everything whatever he ate. He was taken to the doctor. Doctor told us that his hospitalization was must because the infection was severe. I informed the insurance company immediately and asked them also if they wanted to check the hospitalization. On 2 nd June 2006 he was admitted to a private hospital and he remained in hospital till 9th June 2006 . By 16th June when came back to his routine I sent my claim attaching all the required of hospitalization documents , doctor’s certificate and all bills. On 17th JUle 2006 I sent all all the claim documets through courier
Since while selling this policy to me the company had made very tall claims about delivery of services , so I was just waiting for reimbursement of my claim. When till 12 th of July 2006 I did not hear anything from them. I called up the help line no. and I was told that the claim had been rejected saying that the patient had a pre existing disease. When I told to this call center person that my son was only 5 years old and my policy was one and half years old and asked him about the next step should be taken for this claim; so the person said I should call him up next day again and he would tell me in detail. Next day I called up again and got the another person on phone but without any answer for my querry and this time the lady told me that I should send a certificate from the same doctor saying that this disease was not pre existing. When I told her that I had already attached the certificate , saying the same thing. Then she said she had no further idea and told me to call up next day again. When on 14 th I called up again this lady noted down my contact no. and told me that they would revert back next day. When on 15th I did not receive any reply of my emails to them and no phone also. I called up again and this time the call center lady said they have nothing to tell me since the case has been rejected the letter would be sent to me. On 17 th July 2006 I again wrote them an email and sent a copy to consumer grievance cell and then within 3 hours I received an email from them with an attachment of rejection letter which is dated 3rd July 2006. Rejection Letter which is dated 3 rd July 2006 , they sent me on 17th July 2006 by e mail , on itt has been shown that this was registered AD post . But in 14 days of its dispatch I have not received it.
I have paid Rs. 15696-00 ( Rs. 7848-00 for one policy ) to ICICI Lombard for this policy and my claim is only for Rs. 20 760-00. I am failing to understand if the TTK Health Services ( Third Party Administrator to ICICI Lombard ) can reject a claim for a simple stomach infection ; Would they pay my claim if I happen to get an heart attack in future. They will simply say that disease was pre existing , blockage was pre existing there were symptoms of High Blood Pressures , that’s why patient applied for a policy , and after one and half years of taking policy managed to get an heart attack so it is not coveredunder policy. If the company does not want to refund the claim then they should clearly tell to marketing people so they do not make any fake claim to the customer and clearly tell that Medi Claim policy covers only Accidental Injuries because they are never pre existing.
I have asked TTK Health Services to tell me the name of the doctor or any hospital for verification my claim and for verification of the disease that it was not pre existing. Am I a fool that I would just sit with my ailing 5 years old son and wait for one and half years or two years for his treatment; will the doctors of TTK who have rejected this claim can wait for treatment of their children .
This is the simple case of cheating and I want justice from Govt. of India.

Hi,
This is Nimit Sheth and am from Mumbai working for an US MNC. I have grievance against ICICI Lombard. In November, 2005, I had taken a 2year joint medical policy with me as the 1st policy holder (age 29 years then) and my mother as the 2nd policy holder (age 54 years then). On the policy certificate, they have published both ages as 54 years and I have been following up with them vide their call centers and talking to a scores of operators, but they have failed to provide me with a certificate mentioning my age that can be used in case of any casualties. I have been following up with them but each support person makes vague promises saying that you will receive a note (certificate from ICICI Lombard in X working days. I have so far not received anything and have also stopped following with them.
Can you please guide me what can be done about it? Should I register a case against ICICI Lombard with the consumer court?

I am Bulu Pattanaik from Hyderabad, well before 5 months ago My bike had been roobbed away from me, well that was a financed bike from ICICI bank, I went to the Insurance ppls, they asked me for such types of documents which had eaten almost 4 months of my time, they needed a Document from ICICI ppls that is a NOC from ICICI bank, and when I went to ICICI bank these ppls said me that you need to bring a Final Report from the Court, and for this particular report I have to wait for 4 months, now the ICICI ppls are harshing me to pay the amount of the bike whereas they are never trying to help me out in providing me the NOC which would make the Insurance ppls work easier to have the research to confirm the loos of the bike so that they can pay them amount by which me as well as ICICI bank could get the amount.
In my life I have never been truobled so much which I am being now by the ICICI bank, no one shows me the correct way to get the money soon from the insurance ppls, whereas these ICICI bank ppls they need their money immedeatly, they dont understand my problem.
Please help me out, how could I tackle this situation.

Dear Sir / Madam,
I am writing this mail regarding a problem that I had with ICICI Bank regarding the conversion of my Car Loan Account into a Car Overdraft. This all happened around 8 months back, and despite of constant reminders to the most senior people of the bank no action has been taken against my complaint.
In brief I will like to summarize my problem as:
I had a car loan with the bank in which 14 installments were pending. Later a person from Bank DSA contacted me and told me about a tempting scheme (a complete bluff which landed me in all the problems) which will save a lot of money on changing my Car Loan to Car Overdraft. Initially I was not interested, but later I said yes for the conversion.
When the conversion actually happened I came to know about all those false commitments and bluffs, for which I lodged a complaint to the bank customer care (SR10131976137). No action was taken on this complaint, due to which I complained to the senior bank officials in the Bank’s Head Branch at Videocon Tower - Delhi.
They promised to take action against the involved culprits, but later on they also took no action. These false commitments landed me in financial loss which I was not at all supposed to bear. At the time of complaining, I used to receive calls from the bank that we will compensate your losses, which actually never happened. When despite of around 5 month’s of repetitive complaints to those officials, I moved to headservicequality@icicibank.com which is said to be the highest place to report any such consumer grievance.
But, they also used to make some promises which were never fulfilled. It has been 3 months since I have complained about my problem to them, and still no action has been taken. Despite of paying my entire loan amount 14 months prior to my supposed loan closure, I had paid the bank around 5 – 8 thousand Rupees more (still my car is on their name).
Please suggest me what should I do to resolve this problem? I do have around 8-10 complaints being logged through the emails (as there is no other mean of lodging a complaint).
I have names, telephone numbers and email ids of some of the involved senior people (who have taken no action for the lodged complaints). I don’t have the bluffed scheme in written, but the bank officials have confessed about the false commitment made by the person were incorrect which had to be corrected by the bank.
I can tell you my problem in detail on your request. I hope you can help me in this matter and wish for a positive reply from your side.

Dear Mr Siddharth,
I am in receipt of my credit card statement which I am forwarding to you with a request to ask the concerned to give me the details of Rs 4,333/= towards purchase and other charges.
Once you have confirmed that my credit card account for the payment of my utility bills has already been de- activated I don’t understand as to how are we going to regularise this credit amount of Rs 2253/= in my account.
In this regard your reply ,in responce to my last mail, is still awaited.
Can you kindly suggest me as how to get rid of your credit card services ? I would also like to cancell my Primary and add on cards availed. Kindly guide me as to what am I supposed to do for that ?I shall be sincerely grateful for your kind help.

I am satish annavarapu from kolkata. I have my salary account with
ICICI Bank Salt Lake brnach, kolkata.
I have got a problem recently with ICICI bank as I havent withdrawn
amount of 100 rupees on a date of 1st of June and I made only 1000
rupees. The records of them are showing that I have made two
transactions of with drawels and one is for 1000/- and the second is
for 100 rupees. But the thing is that here in salt lake you cant
withdrawn less than 500 rupees. The minimum amount should be allowed
to withdraw from an ATM counter is 500. So I have requested them to
verify the transaction once and came to the end result as saying that
I have my self withdrawn the amount.
Can you please suggest me what is the best way to approach ICICI now
in getting my money back.

Dear Sir/ Ma’am,
I used to posess a ICICI Bank Credt card In the name of Ranjan Ghosh haveing
card No. 4477470056130009. In the year 2004, due to my purchases, the bill
was Rs.1,50,000/-. I paid the cheque to them with the said amount for which
i have a copy too. The bank did not debit this amount from my account and
when enquired by the customerservice department they just clarified that
there was insufficient balance in my bank account. I have a copy of the
bank statement as well as a bank manager declaration that the amount was
present in my bank account at that time. This went on for 3 months and
subsequently interest was charged for the same inspite of our paying the
cheque on time. We registered the complant for the same but there was no
listening. Ultimately we had no other option but to stop the card by
September’05. The balance at that time was 23,000/- for which we intended
to pay after we got a full breakup. In the meantime we have been
continuously interacting with the bank to send an executive to have the same
done but no avail. Today I got an sms on my cell that a fig of Rs. 43730/-
has been deducted from my account n this regard. i would like to go the the
customer court as this is a hardearned money from my PF account and I want
this back. this is total foul play and I expect consumercourt to take up my
case and help me in getting back the money immediately.

I wanted to deposit a sum of Rs.1950 in to the ICICI account of “Magical Methods Enterprises” (Account No:006505000874) for a course material . So I approached the ICICI bank at Beasent Nagar (Chennai) and filled the relevant details in the Pay-in-slip. Since I did not have the exact sum of Rs.1950, I gave 2 thousand rupee notes to the lady at the counter. In the denominations column of the slip I wrote 1000×2 nos = 2000 as that was the denomination I had but I had written clearly in words “One thousand nine hundred and fifty” in both the counterfoil and the bank slip.I have made a look alike pay-in-slip-please see attachments. But the lady at the desk transacted a sum of 2000 by mistake to the account of “Magical Methods Enterprise” and said that nothing can be done.
Everybody does mistakes and everybody have their own pressures. Fifty Rupees is not a big deal for me but to deposit money I travelled for 45 minutes and came to them but the way she replied made me lose my temper and spoilt my mood that day.She said they are busy and they don’t have time to read through the slip or the counterfoil and that I should have informed them that the amount was not 2000. How can I write 1950 in the denominations column when I don’t have the exact change? Whose work is this? How can they say that I should inform? For what are they paid for-to reply they are busy?
I approached a senior person in the bank and asked him how to fill a slip if you don’t have the exact change. Won’t it lead to confusion when I fill the denomination column. He said that mistakes of this sort did happen previously. Then I showed him my pay-in-slip and asked him what I should do now as the amount had been transacted. The minute he knew that his colleague has done a mistake even he started complaining that I should have informed the lady at the counter when nowhere in the slip it is written so. I want some action taken on this lady.I am not bothered about money but i want some action against her (depromotion etc). What is possible from my side? Please help.

My name is Adarsh Daniel Soans.I am facing problem with my ICICI credit card . When i did my cc i was IN “serviceable area” according to the bank. But now i a have shifted my house to “none Serviceable ” according to the Bank.Which is only 25 km from my previous house.Before they where sending my monthly statements to my house once i shifted my house they stopped sending statement saying that i was in none serviceable area even though i am doing my payments correctly. Then i gave my friends address to receive the statement then they started sending there. i wrote a email to the customer care of the bank saying that i will pay the mailing charges pl send me the monthly statements to the address where i stay which according to them is in non serviceable area as i don’t want to receive my statements to friends place but send to the house where i stay but they have said they cannot do that instead they have asked me to cancel the card . pl any one can give me solution for this . how can a credit card company ask a customer who is doing is payments promptly to cancel the card.IS this the correct way of giving service to the customer can any one give me solution for this

This is murugesh perumal here from bombay. i had taken loan of 36200 on icici bank cerdit card on 9% rate of interest for 18 months on redcuing balance . Against which i had made a payment of rs 20000 to my credit card on 05/04/06 . Instead of adjutsting towrads my loan amount they gave credit to my credit card and deducting the EMI principal amount & EMI interest Amount every month . BY doing so they are charging interest on rs 36000 and not 16000 . And the rate of interest they have charged is also high. They have charge me rate of interest at 13.5% i.e 9% for 12 months & 4.5 for 6 months . they have add boths rate of interest .

Please note my point-wise details as below :
I received a phone call from some lady Executive based at ICICI Bank,
Videocn tower, New Delhi for activation of Utility bill payment through
ICICI Bank Credit card. After my confirmation, She sent courier boy to
my office with a Form and I filled up the same and submitted my
Insurance details for activation of the facility. I do not have her
visiting card because she discussed with me on phones.
I have salary account with ICICI Bank. The address of the branch is :
- ICICI Bank Limited, G-1, Padma Place, 86, Nehru Place, New
Delhi - 110019.
3. ICICI Bank DSA approached me through phone and they offered me ICICI
bank Gold card based on my salary and salary account with ICICI Bank. DSA
sent through representative with a Form & I filled up the Form and gave my
salary slip for the new Credit Card. I do not have their visiting card
because DSA discussed with me on phones.
Please let me know if above details is sufficient or any more information
is required.

I had got ICICI CREDIT CARD in 2004 with clear commitment that there
won’t be any annual fees as such and auto debit will not be greater than
0.5% of actual purchase amount outstanding…
Everything was fine till march 2005 … ….however ICICI all of sudden sent
extra charges of around Rs. 750 towards their annual fees and then onwards
they started charging LATE FEES / Intrest fees Unnecesserily even before
credit time period of 50 days for other purchases also…
I immediately informed ICICI Customer service through their general Nos.
for Deactivation / stoppage / cancellation of CREDIT Card …..which has not
happened till date…
I had made actual purchase of rs 12,000/- and which I do agree always to
pay …
Regarding same , there was 1 executive Sh. Simon arrived at our residence
on 8/9/2005 He even had arranged my telecom with his senior Sh Rajeev .
As per this telecom, Sh. Rajeev agreed to send FULL & FINAL SETTLEMENT
STATEMENT for rs 12,000/- within 3 days and requested to hand over 1
advance cheque of Rs 2800/- to get necessary approvals for issuing FULL &
FINAL SETTLEMENT STATEMENT for Rs 12,000/- ( Minus Rs 2800 )
Accordingly I handed over them ICICI BANK Cheque .They also had assured
that above said cheque will not be deposited and will be returned back as
it Is along with FULL & FINAL SETTLEMENT STATEMENT for Rs 12,000/-
I WAITED LONG BUT No response as such till now from ICICI BANK CREDIT CARD
Division and they continued to send monthly statement with wrong charges
Piling up wrongly to huge like Rs 40,000/- ++…
Meanwhile on 3rd OCT 2005 , I sent them registered letter stating all above
facts and request to send me the FINAL statement of rs.12000/- .I had even
warned tthem to treat it like NOTICE but No response again till now….

This is to inform you that despite of several request and reminder since 05/06/2006 for the foreclosure statement,the bank has unable to provide it till date although committing so many times vide sms and mail that it will be dispatched in next 6-7 days(deatils correspondence attached hereunder).This is the worst banking experinece i have with ICICI and I have already decided to discontinue all my relationship with this bank.
As far as the treatment to this account(LPDEL00005002050) is concerned,due to default on many occassion and even after my follow ups for almost one month,the bank has not informed me the balance amount to close this account, therefore i have decided to stop paying EMI or any amount accrued on this account till this matter get resolved in the competent court of consumer grievances.

First of all, let me introduce myself. My name is Venkatesh.Y, I have
done my graduation in B.com and persuing MBA through distance education.
I am located in Bangalore.
My case is as follows : -
I had taken a personal loan with ICICI Bank during November 2004 and
repaid 11 months EMI without any cheque bounces. And, I wanted to pre-close
this loan for which, I took a personal loan with HDFC Bank Chennai for
an amount of Rs.70000 during October 2005. HDFC Bank issued me 2 Pay
orders one in my name for Rs.39809.00 and another one in the name of
ICICI Bank for Rs.28791.00 for Balance Transfer.
I issued the pay order ( which was in the name of ICICI Bank) to ICICI
Bank to pre-close my loan a/c during the month of November 2005. The
bank had instructed me that i would get NOC only after 2 months. I did
not get NOC even after 2 months, so i went personally to ICICI Bank -
Bangalore to collect the same. But, Bank did not gave the NOC and told
me that my loan is still activated and THE PAY ORDER WHICH WAS GIVEN TO
PRE-CLOSE THE LOAN HAS GOT BOUNCED.
I enquired the same with HDFC Bank and HDFC asked me to give the proof
( PO and Cheque return memo). And, I followed up for these documents
with ICICI Bank for more than 3 months but was unable to provide me
instead they kept dragging the days instead of solving the problem.
So, I finally went back to HDFC Bank Chennai and got a letter from the
bank. The Bank has stated in a letter that, THE PAY ORDER OF RS.28791.00 WAS NOT PRESENTED AT ALL BY THE ICICI & THE AMOUNT OF RS.28791 IS STILL WITH THE BANK UNDER CREDIT.
I came back to bangalore and sent the copy of the letter to ICICI Bank
and awaited for the solution. Finally, after 20 days, ICICI bank gave
me a ” PHOTOCOPY OF THE PAY ORDER & THE CHEQUE RETURN MEMO, IN WHICH THE REASON FOR DISHONOUR IS MENTIONED AS : NOT PAYABLE THROUGH BANGALORE CLEARANCE.
And, I spoke to HDFC Bank Chennai regarding this and asked them to pay
WHAT EVER THE CHARGES THAT ARE LEVIED BY ICICI BANK for the period of
November 2005 to till date. The bank has asked me send the details as
well as the documents but are not ready to pay me the compensation. ( as per conversation had with HDFC bank personal loans manager - chennai)
And, I have requested the ICICI Bank to wait until I get the PO back from
HDFC Bank, so that i can pay them the same. But, the ICICI bank people
are not listening to my words and keep calling me for the payment and
also threatening me that incase if i dont pay within 3 days, they are
going to send a LEGAL NOTICE and ALSO DAMAGE MY CREDIBILITY so that I
would not be able to get anymore loans from any other banks in future.
I just want to conclude this in a simple sentences as follows : -
PROBLEM FACED WITH ICICI BANK : -
1. The bank did not informed me nor sent me any communication regarding
the cheque bounce even after 4 months of occurance.
2. The bank did not provide me the proof of documents i.e CHEQUE RETURN
MEMO & ORIGINAL PAY ORDER even after following up for the same for
about 3 months.
3. The bank has levied heavy charges for CHEQUE BOUNCES FOR 7 MONTHS,
PENALTY CHARGE, LATE PAYMENTS CHARGES AND INTEREST CHARGES.
4. The bank is threatening of LEGAL NOTICE and DAMAGING THE
CREDIBILITY.
PROBLEM FACED WITH HDFC BANK : -
1. Giving a Pay Order which is not valid in bangalore even though after
taking my ICICI Bank loan details and documents before processing the loan.
2. DISHONOURING THE PAY ORDER, which has damaged my credibility very
badly.
3. Not solving the problem and not ready to pay the compensation.
So, this is my case and facing problems to get solved. Please guide me in this regard and help me to get solved out of these problems.

I have had a similar issue with ICICI bank. I had applied for a Personal Loan from them and it was promised to me at 16% reducing balance.
I then recieved the draft and posted it to my account and later I recieved a letter from ICICI saying the Rate of Interest is 21%. I have tried following up ICICI and the DSA guys through whom this loan was sought. But it has had no resolution whatsoever. I am a little confused as to what I can and I’m supposed to do. I too had a very bad experience with ICICI Bank credit card. They had promised to give “Life Time Free” card but slapped Rs. 1653/- on account of Annual Charges. After a lot of correspondence they refunded the charges and I cancelled the Card as I did not want to deal with such organizations. I did not expect this from ICICI Bank. complain of severe epigastric distress associated with

Unfortunately the cashless service was denied on
account of clause C-3
partening to pancreatic cyst.
In the column of provisional diagnosis of your
pre-authorisation request
form no(7) dated 31.03.06 the doctor had wrongly
suspected a pancreatic
cyst / acute pancreatitis with a hint of doubt (
clear from the interrogation mark
present in the prescription of the diagnosis column).
I was advised
to undergo for a plain and contrast enhanced CT of
the abdomen and the
pelvis and it has been rectified by the same physician
( DR. V.N. LULLA) in
his letter dated on -04.04.06 addressed to the TTK
HEALTHCARE
SERVICES (P) Ltd on the basis of the detailed report
of CT ABDOMEN/
PELVIS SCAN that the ‘ both adrenals are
normal and both kidneys show
good excretory functions. uterus and uinary bladder
are normal and other
pelvic tissues are also normal. cyst is in the left
lobe of liver and there is no
calcification, nodule or septa is seen, no ascites or
abenopathy is seen
and the bowel loops are normal, gall bladder biliary
tree and pancreas are
normal. the portal vein , spelenic vein and spleen
are normal and no other
significant abnormality is seen’.
Dr. V.N. LULLA has declared very specifically that,
primary diagnosis was
pancreatitis and the treatment given to me was on the
basis of pancreatitis
and the cyst was an incidental findings on C.T. scan
for which no treatment
was given. By ignoring the said doctor certificate in
his letter pad & other
documentary evidences, you have disrespected the
medical consultant &
illegally harassed me . Even after obtaining discharge
cum fitness
certificate from the nursing home, I was asked
unnecessarily to stay at
Mumbai for another 20 days with an expectation of
“ some more documents
could have been required for the process of the said
claim, as stated by the
customer care executives of your TPA.
Dr. V.N. lulla has very specifically clarified in his
letter-pad of BELLE VIEW
NURSING HOME (original submitted) on 05.04.06.
Further neither a single
drug has been advocated for the treatment of cyst nor
I was advised for
any surgical intervention(refer : clinical findings
and drugs administered).
Moreover , I have never suffered from any of these
pre-existing diseases mentioned in clause no C-3
because I have been
covered by another mediclaim policy of NATIONAL INSUR
ANCE CO
( 101900/48/05/8500006223) for a long time and I use
to get no-claim
bonus while paying my premium annually (current year
premium receipt
is furnished). I have enough proof to establish the
facts that I have
never suffered from any chronic diseases related to
cyst or deseases
caused by the presence of cyst. Non settlement
of health insurance claim beyond sixtydays without
valid reason has
afflicted with gross negligence which tantamount to
malefic intension and
violation of consumer rights . Under such
circumstances we request you
to look into the matter and take appropriate action
for settlement of the

1. I received a collection call from ICICI bank even
though my account was current. I was travelling and I
was called on my mobile phone. Can this be taken as

I would like to file a case against ICICI credit card division.
Case history:-
I have a ICICI credit card from past 4 years and I have stopped using this card from past several months.
ICICI credit card people have issued a supplementary card on the name of my father who has expired 12 years back, without my request. We have not received this supplementary card and it has reached in the hands of some miscreants who have utilized the full credit limit[ ~36000] on this supplementary card in the month of March 2006.
We came to know about this fraud after receiving the credit card statement for the month of April ’06 and immediately raised a complaint with the ICICI customer care people to investigate about this fraud.
From past one month the ICICI credit card people are harassing me repeatedly to pay the credit card amount. How and why am I supposed to pay the credit card amount when someone has misutilized the card??? the card that was used on my expired father without my request???.
Please help me file a case in this regard. I am furnishing some details for your reference.

Hi,
I have tried to keep this in brief as per your convenience.
I have complaint against ICICI Home Loans.
I have been harassed by them a lot.
Out of 2-3 incidents, i am mentioning the latest one.
I wanted t prepay the Loan Amount and finish it with ICICI.
I didn’t knew the procedure for this and so asked about this from the bank’s executive.
The Bank’s executive told that a part prepayment can be done, in order to save the forclosure charges. After the prepayment the next onwards EMI will be based upon the new Principal amount.
After 4-5 days I made the part prepayment of 8.75 Lac on 8th June’2006 , I saw that the payment has been considered on date (7th July ‘ 2006) , 1 month after it has been actually paid and the one next EMI of July is based upon the old Pricipal amount.
My money is with the bank for no reason.
Due to this I am loosing around Rs. 15000 ( the interest paid in next EMI + interset for my money which I have paid.)
When I raised this thing, The banks executive didn’t coperative and told that nothing can be done now ( at the Jhandewala Branch, New Delhi).
They say that as my monthly EMI due date is 7th every month and I have done the payment on 8th, so the payment will be considered in next month and hence EMI will vary.
This is totally unfair as they never mnetioned this rule to me prior to the payment.
Also, the senior executives lied and tried to hide their mistake when one of their junior executives accepted theri fault in ICICI HFC, NOIDA Branch.
I would like take this thing further with ICRPC and would appreciate if something can be done regarding this by you.

I had a dispute with ICICI Bank Limited. They have charged me 1000Rs + some extra money (interest + service fees) for the transaction which is invalid. I had tried to withdraw 1000 Rs from ICICI ATM (MG Road, Pune). But the ATM gave me just the slip that the transaction is invalid.
In my next months credit card statement ICICI Bank charged me with 1000Rs + some extra money (interest + service fees) for the transaction. I raised the complaint against this to ICICI Bank , the Bank said they will take this matter and will investigate the issue. After 1 month they sent me Credit Card Statement saying that the dispute is in Bank’s Favor. I have not paid the amount and I have I also discontinued my credit card.
But now I am afraid that the bank will ask me to pay the money. Please tell me what should be my position in this regard. Kindly let me know as soon as possible. Thanking you.

I have a Fixed Deposit with ICICI. I had given this fixed deposit as collateral to my relative’s business requirement to the same bank. The collateral was needed for opening Letter of Credit for some product importation from overseas. The FD was due on 15-Nov-2005 and since the FD was under the custody of ICICI Bank, I could not renew the FD on due date. The lean created on the FD was removed by end May 2006 and the FD receipt was returned to me.
On approaching ICICI about the interest after 15th Nov 2005 the FD was in the banks custody, I am not getting any positive response.
Kindly guide me how to go about the above issue and the route to redress my right to claim the interest for the period the FD was in the banks custody.

Mr Siddharth , there are a few questions which I must ask you and your management. I am sure you will find my questions quite relevant and answers will help you improve your system.
In case of any clarification or imbroglio one faces ( like mine for example ) where one should approach ,other than your head customer care (whose competency needs no more elaborations)?
Is it recommended for every customer to have Mr Kamath’s mail id and necessarily approach a person of his stature for such stupid complaints ? If not , who shall one approach and what is the assurance that one’s problems will be taken care of ?
How & where the excess amount of Rs 1040/= reflected as paid against my BSNL bill was accounted for last 13 months & under which head (unaccounted) ?
Why I am asking this particular question is because I cannot simply believe that this happened to me with a bank claiming and probably emerging as one of the fastest growing and promising bank.
How comfortable and trustworthy do you think I shall find ICICI after such an ordeal ?
Can you guess how much time I had to spend for this issue and the mental agony , embarrsement , humiliation and harrasement I have gone through for such a petty issue. Is there any compensation ICICI has for me ?

I received calls from hyderbad from various officer
They thought that once my money will get credited problem will solve

I had an ICICI Credit Card (Card No.4477 4600 4570 1002) and enjoyed its services from Jan-2001 till April-2004. During this period, I had maintained a very clean payment track record, and every month, I have been paying the full amount due, well within the due date, barring a couple of exceptions, where there have been delays by a few days only, for which I had also paid their usual Late Fees/Interest charges etc.
Due to some kind of dissatisfaction with their services, I decided to discontinue with their services in April-2004, when I had called them up and asked for a/c closure with full-&-final settlement. At that point of time, the total amount due was Rs.4,335/-, which I agreed to pay, subject to their simultaneously settling an aggregate Reward Point of 1,441 points, which I had accumulated over a period, and standing to my credit. The dealing official at ICICI’s Customer Care expressed his inability to do anything to the Reward Point, and instead asked me to pay the full amount due, which I had declined, till such time Reward Points are settled.
This went on for several months, while ICICI continued sending their bill after adding Late Fess/Interest charges on every bill. The ‘Total Amount Due’ kept on growing at a phenomenal rate, while I had been receiving several calls to pay the outstanding. As usual, every calling official expressed their incompetence to do anything about the reward points standing in my credit, while I had decided to be firm on my stand for asking for a single-window settlement at one go.
In meantime, on several occasion, I did pay some minimum amount, requested by the callers from time-to-time, who promised to get back to me for an amicable settlement, but none of them ever got back.
In Aug-2005, ICICI electronically debited an amount of Rs.6,800/- from my saving bank a/c at ICICI, Mayut Vihar Ph-I, Delhi Branch, with a pretext that they have a lien on my account and they have right to do so. A written complaint made to the Branch Manager, failed to bring in any solution to this. As usual, ICICI continues to send me their bills, and are now claiming an amount of Rs.12,000/- to close this account.
Over past 12 months, on insistence of various callers from ICICI, I had visited their Delhi Regional Office, at Vedeocon Towers, four times, but on every occassion, they were adamant on my paying the full amount as per their computer generated statement, which was not acceptable to me.
Please view that:-
(1) Total amount Due as on April-2004 was Rs.4,335/-
(2) Reward Point lying in my credit as of April-2004 was 1,441 points (which has an equivalent Rupee value)
(3) From May-2004 onwards, I have already paid to ICICI an cumulative amount of Rs.8,219/-
(4) ICICI had anyway blocked usability of this card w.e.f May-2004.
(5) ICICI should not charge any Late Fee/Special interest, after May-2004. At best, only an usual interest charge, on reducing balance may be considered.
(6) By a simple calculation, ICICI needs to pay me back a sum of around Rs.5,000/-. Instead they are claiming a further amount of Rs.12,000/-
I shall be grateful, if you kindly advise me, as to what is legally possible, and the remedial legal action I can take on ICICI.

After it I have purchased a 20gm gold coin from the
ICICI bank Hazrat Ganj Branch Lucknow via invoice
no.6281002337 at Rs.21410/-.
Just after bying I went to the HDFC bank for some
other work and there I got to know that the gold rates
in their branch with the same manufacturer and same
99.99% purity endorsed by the same company as in case
of ICICI bank are-

When I again contacted the ICICI bank regarding huge
differance in the rates, they shown their no intrest
in it and simply reply that I should have been
enquired earlier.
My complaint is that the gold prise are driven by the
international market and every morning the rate comes
for all the banks than why there is huge diff. Also If
I am having the very old acount with ICICI and on that
ground I simply walked in for the purchase, is that
wrong to have faith on the banking sector.

My ICICI Credit card expired in Feb 2005. Before expiration i paid all my dues.
But the bank renewed my card without my awarness. Also i never told them to
renew the same.
They were also not able to reach me to deliver the new card as i was onsite US.
They shredded the card.
But they added the anual fee into the new credit cards account. Without my
awarness that anual fee due got grown with fine charges since i did not pay
that. It has grown to 6300 Rs.
I had linked my ICICI savings bank account with this ICICI Credit Card account
in the past. And i did not have any amount in the SB account. But during last
month i deposited Rs 5000 into this SB account. And suddenly on May 31st, Rs
2300 deducted from my SB account. I called and enquired about this. They said
its for my credit card minimum payment.
I called the ICICI customer care and told them that i did not recieve the new
credit card and i did not even aware that my credit card is renewed for the
past one and half years. They agreed to zeroise my card but they are denying to
give me my Rs 2300 which got deducted from my SB account unnecessarily.
They are saying whatever is taken cannot be given back.
This is highly a reckless answer.
How do I go about with this? I am ready to go to the consumer court. But i dont
know how to and where to approach.
Please help me in this to prevent these kinds of service level irregularities
done by the banks.

First of all thanks ever so much for your information regading dealing with the notorious oraganizations around the corner..I had a nasty experience with ICICI bank in u.k. branch.. Unfortunately i opened an account in their branch in London.. One day i went to the bank to get a bank statement( which they never ever deliver to your home) they charged 10 pounds each and every single paper…Literally 10 quids is rip off mate. And they proudly said this the bank rules and we are providing lot of customer services.. Every NRI try to open the account in this branch because they lure you to send free of charge to india. but its not correct.. what they do is if the exchage rate is 85.00 they give 83.50. supporse if you send 1000 pounds they get 1500 rupees means nearly 20 pounds of charge indirectly.. Poor indians they never know these lurking charges…..If i would be the chairman RBI or Finance Minister then i will put an investigation and ban all these crap from india..

I am Venkat Iyer Staying in Thane (W). I had applied for Consumer durable loan way back in July 15-2005 through Countywide Finance. I had avilaed loan for 11 months to teh tune of rs 35000,and has issued them 11 PDC from ICICI bank. One day i has visited ICICI bank thane branch for some work. at that point of time a staff from the ICICI bank told me my signature varies a lot, hence i need to chane my signature and need to keep it standard. or else it will affect the tracascation where ever i do.Hence changed my signature and also have affidivit for the same. Since already i has issued 11 PDC to Countrywide with old signature and i new it will get dishonured if it hits, coz i has chaned my signature, Hence i visited there branch in Mahim, they asked me to make cash payment for the cheque of novermer wit the swapping charged of rs 500 and to issue new cheque with new signature in effect, and asked me to instruct ICICI to make stop payment for the November. I have done as they said and also they gave me receipt fro the payment of November 06, and i have issued them new cheque with the new signaturefrom dec 05 to July 06. Inspite of making cash payment for the month of november, ther collection agenct is still calling me saying i have bounced the cheque for month of november 05. Though i have given them the copy of the payment made in novenmer 05.still they are harrising me by calling. Kindly get me out of this trouble

I Pravin Kulkarni currently residing out of Mumbai, I am a Customer of ICICI Bank previously using their Credit Card services would want to formally launch a complaint with the concerned RBI authorities about a certain issue the details of which are mentioned as follows.
I had applied for ICICI Credit Card and the sales executive he had guided me with the entire process along with mentioning that the ICICI Lombard policy was Free of cost and took my signature against it and followed which I have received the policy letters. But when I received the first statement some amount has been charged against the ICICI Lombard policy which has been sent. They have sent me the policy letters and certain amount has been deducted from my account. When I requested for the cancellation of the same, during the period the Customer Service Executive had told me that no cancellation charges would be deducted against it. But the principal amount which has been charged against the policy 3196/- after cancellation 1396/- is refunded and still 1800/- is still due.
Now their reply is that this amount is the charged against the cancellation of the policy, and the interest is been added in that.
I tried speaking to Customer Service Executive and their Manager enumerable times and they have not been able to find a win-win solution, I would appreciate if you kindly guide me to the right authority or take up this matter with the bank and help me get the satisfactory solution to this problem.

Hi,
I am writing this email since I’m not getting a response from the telephone support. I have made several calls in last one year regarding closing the credit card No: 4477468078103004 and I have been repeatedly forwarded from customer care to collection department and vise versa. I would like to inform you that I am literally tired of talking to the people over the phone to get the card closed.
I got the above mentioned credit card in April 2004 form one of the representative forcibly pushing me to take the card in my office campus during lunch break. The issues started from the first month itself even before I used the card. There were charges of 6700/- and more saying balance transfer from my Citibank card where in there is no such balance transfer happened. I had to literally fight with the customer care people over the phone for no action/ correction. It took more than 5-6 months to get the issue resolved and the charges were reversed with a note of apology after I visited the ICICI office in person in residency road. Meanwhile I used the card for a transaction of Rs.5000/- and made several monthly payments of Rs.600, Rs.1000 etc (I have the receipts for the payments I have made) as and when the collection personnel approached me.
During April 2005, I have requested the collection department personnel to give me an amount to settle the account and to cancel the card. Mr. Aditya Kumar (Team Lead) from the collection department gave me an amount of Rs.2115 to close the card. I have the receipt for making this payment and got the writing on the receipt “THE CARD IS CLOSED, NO BALANCE†(I still have the receipt with me). I was told that I will receive a closure letter/statement from ICICI within 48 Hrs. However, I did not receive the letter even after a month. When I continued to receive the statements, I contacted Mr. Aditya and he told me not to worry about the statements saying I will receive for 2 months and to ignore them. Later on whenever I called him, he kept telling me that he is traveling, he will call me back or he is out of station.
He had changed his mobile number and I managed to find the office number also. When I called him on office landline no, his answer was his boss is out of station, he has to come to sign the letter. I never have received this so called closure letter/statement. After a couple of months I came to know that he is no more in the ICICI collection team. Now, my issue is unresolved in spite of making the payment for proposed settlement amount, I have not received the closure letter/statement and I have been receiving the statements with penalties and charges. Isn’t this a clear case of cheating?
Meanwhile, we have shifted our house to a different location in Bangalore. I have voluntarily called up your people to update on the same and requested them to send me the closure statement. I have been tired of calling on the customer care number and they are not willing to help me. In spite of me spending lot of my valuable time over the phone, the customer care personnel have not acted upon my case. Rather, they forward me to the collection team. I have to again explain the collection department people from the scratch and they again forward me to the customer care. This has been going on for a long time and I am tired of the entire process.
I have been a customer of Citibank for over 5 years (I have closed 3 credit cards and currently have two cards and Suvidha a/c ) and never had any issues regarding transacting with them.
Now, I request you to kindly look in to my case and give me the solution. Please send me the closure statement and stop sending statements. Appreciate your quick response.

Hello,
I took medical policy from ICICILombard and asked to charge my card as per monthly installment. everything was ok
but they deducted my all amount at once.
And they charged my credit card for someone else’s medical policy also
when I made complaint and asked them to cancel both policies. they returned me 4 times. and when I asked then to fix this they charged my card again twice to adjust for both policy they only returned me 80% money only. my policy I can be agree. but why they are returning me 80% for the policy for which I didn’t apply and that is also not on my name.
Well, and from last 2 months I am asking them to return on customer care and no one is returning me? please help me to know understand what I have to do. I used to be busy a lot so please let me know what should I do ?

Hi,
I had called the ICICI phone banking number 2 months ago, and was
pre-approved for a home loan at 8.25%. Despite my repeated calls
thereafter, no executive was sent to meet me, and close the deal. A month
later, I met with an executive, who informed me that the interest rates had
gone up, and I would now be charged 9%. He made no attempt to contact my
builder, collect my documents, etc. After another 2 weeks, yet another
executive met with me, collected all the documents, and assured me that they
would disburse the loan within 10-12 days. It, of course, did not happen!
The builder who had patiently waited all these months, finally had no choice
but to withdraw his offer to me.
I am now left with no home to buy, no loan, and of course, an increased rate
of interest! Is this the kind of service to expect from a bank that claims
“Hum hain na”???!!!
Please let me know what my alternatives are now, with regard to taking this
matter up in the form of a complaint.

Dear Sir,
I was purchase one ICICI Pru Life Time Pension Scheme from ICICI on 01-03-2004 for tax saving purpose. At the time of purchasing of said policy ,their Area Manager Mr. Vinay Kumar , assure me that we will give you free insurance cover for Rs.2 Lacks along with this scheme , as per policy of ICICI Pru Life Time Pension.
After paying three installment ( Rs.Ten thousand per annum to ICICI Pru Life Time Pension ) , i got a account statement from ICICI Pru Life Time Pension. I was very surprised to seems the account statement. of ICICI Pru Life Time Pension. As per their account statement ,my balance was only Rs.24547 and 17 paisa. When i was deposited Rs.30000/- ( Rs.Thity thousand) to them. And they deducted insurance charges , Administration charges,Mortality charges from my account. which was not committed at the time of purchase of policy.
When i try to approach to ICICI office, they never give me satisfactory reply and advice to contact at 98159-77766. Then I call to 98159-77766 , they advice me to transfer your fund in to MAXIMISER FUND FROM PROTECTOR FUND, AND ALSO REFUSE TO RETURN MY MONEY RS.30000/- WITH INTEREST.
Because i don’t have any other option , So i sent an application for transfer the same. In the last two month i had made various request to ICICI Pru Life Time Pension to cancel my Insurance policy. But they are not responding and deducting the all above charges continuously.
In these three years i had loose Rs.54528 and 83 paisa plus interest without any mistake.
I afraid that my balance will be become ZERO, till the time of completion of my policy . SO you are requested to please take up the matter with ICICI Pru Life Time Pension and arrange to refund my amount Rs.30000/- plus interest.

Dear Sir,
After trying all the means to get justice I thought of
giving my last bit of try by mailing you.I only expect
that you look at my case and divert me to the
concerned person as I am sick and tired of
interacting with ICICI call center. I am not getting
any proper feed back for my quires and don’t know
with whom to interact regarding my case.
Above all I want to know my rights as a consumer
against misuse of my card.
My Case Detail:
I had lost my ICICI Bank Credit card (card #
4477468220313006) on 24th april 2006. The lost had
been reported to ICICI customer care department (
Complaint # Sr 1020580072) as well as Madiwala Police
Station. Last purchase made by me was on 23rd april
2006 at 20.59hrs in Mayuri restaurant (Madiwala -
Bangalore) amounting to Rs 333 only, on 24th morning
somebody had got my card and made purchases at 2
different locations in Maruti Nagar, BTM layout
Bangalore( Ramdev Mobile For Rs.5712, In Rahul
Enterprises for Rs.5610 & Rs.5457) before the card was
blocked.
I personally visited those two outlets and saw the
merchant EDC copy (scanned copy of the same attached
with this mail). None of the EDC copy has got my
signature. I requested ICICI call center to stop the
payments to both the Shops ie.Ramdev Mobile (Prakask
Tawar- 9886114091) and Rahul enterprises ( Manjunath -
9880095483) as they knowingly entertained misuse of my
card.I even requested ICICI call center to raise the
dispute for the same and call me any time for
clarification and documents which will prove that the
Ramdev Mobile and Rahul enterprises have entertained
the person to misuse my credit card.
Sir I have been using this credit card since Nov 2003
and till date never had any issues .My annual usage
amounts to Rs.150000+(Past transactions can be seen).
My billing and payment history has been very clean and
prompt. It was difficult for me to trace above
mentioned outlets when customer care refused to give
me details of these outlets.
I just want to know what safety I have against the
misuse of my card. Credit card had my photograph, it
had my embossed signature and also signature at the
back of the card then too how can a shop allow someone
else to purchase using my card. I used to carry card
in place of hard cash usinsg it is safe. Guess its
more dangerous to carry credit card than carrying
cash.
Request for dispute was taken by ICICI call center.
After that I never heard about it from them. Whenever
I called to find out what is the status of my case I
only got a reply that my case will be solved within 60
Days.
On 7th June I came to know that the judgment has been
passed in favour of the bank. How can a decision be
taken without going detail in to the matter. I was
very clear that I have documents which will prove that
the outlets entertained misuse of my card and I am
available for any help in solving the dispute but no
one from the dispute team called me in this regard.
Isnt’t it the duty of the shopkeepers to be cautious
in talking credit card and verify the photograph with
the individual swiping it. If not the shopkeepers like
Ramdev mobiles and Rahul enterprises will always
entertain misuse of others cards without any fear or
penalty. I would like to know if the responsibility of
credit card misuse is solely falls on me or the
shopkeepers can also be held for misuse of my card.
In my case shopkeepers are happy and no questions have
been asked by ICICI to them.I
Sir you are the last ray of hope for me to get
justice.
It is my humble request to you not to ignore my case.
It is a question of my integrity and I have no
intention to default. I will surely clear all my dues
to the credit card as usual for the purchases made by
me, but will surely not pay for the amount used by
someone else. I am sure your intervention in my case
will definitely help me to get justice and my voice
for justice will not go unheard.

i confused abt the website abt icici debit card services. well i hve forgetten the debit card pin and i want to register a complain abt my loosing debit card pin and want a new pin for my debit card bcoz it makes me a lot of discomfort to hve a hard cash from the atm center. plz guide me i tried the costmer care number but its ben of no use plz help me. thks

It is a shocking state of affairs why does the Reserve Bank of India allows such goons, cheats, decoits as ICICI Bank to operate with immunity, looting, harassing, terrifying crores of gentle people in India. These people are able to stoop down to any lowest level and can safely be awarded Guinees Record for the largest number of peole harasased by them any where in the World.
An equal award by Guinees people deserves to be given to Reserve bank of India for their total deaf, complete dumb and full blindness allowing the ICICI people to rob people day and night.

If you want peace of mind, please dont deal with ICICI. They have worst customer support. whenever u want to register complaint their system is under maintenance. ICICI bank account service is ok but dont ever try to deal with them for loans, credit cards, health policies… I think they have hired some unethical and non responsible staff people for selling their policies, they simply work with one motto that is to grab money from your credit card. I dont know why our Govt is sleeping on the issue. Dont we have any intelligence cell in RBI or of some kind to monitor such issues.
I had very good relation with ICICI since last 7 yrs but once i applied for credit card, its like i lost my peace for several months and till i realized ( after getting wrong papers and wrong policies that i never wanted) they made a hole of more thn 50k in my pocket.
I will tell the whole story in my next post, how i was trapped by ICICI and got so big loss due to my trust on bank (based on my previous bank account experience).
I would suggest you to go to any govt bank they are not technically advanced but atleast they are ethical.
Beggers are better thn ICICI, they ask for money with clear terms that the money will not be returned.

Hi i am also a victim of ICICI bank credit card, I have applaid for a card, and they said ur card has been approved and will reach u shortly.
After couple of days i got a call from ICICI Lombardo, they said u take a policy on ur ICICI card, but i said i dont know my credit card number also, till now i didnt recieved it.
They were only said, we will give u details and they enrolled me for dat,after couple of days some one said, dat is not a good policy so cancl it, i put a mail to them to cancel it, after 1 month i got a bill from ICICI Credit card dept. need to pay the money.
But unfortunate thing is, till now i didnt recieved any credit card and even i didnt recieved any documents for my Policy. this happend in the month of july, still i am gettting bills late payment like dat, i put so many mails to the customer care, but no use.
