WWW.Earn45K.com From Cosmos Infomedia Is A Scam – Avoid It And Do Not Spend Any Money On Earn45K

I want to know about Cosmos Infomedia Pvt. Ltd. Is it existing or fake ? Where is the registered office?
As per the government registry for the companies, there is no company existing by this name as on this date (18 AUG 2008). Check the name carefully, otherwise treat is as a fake if the name and spellings are the same as you have written in your question.

www.earn45k.com from cosmos infomedia is a big scam. earn45k and www.earn45k.net are some of the domain names and websites used by the company to scam people. Scamsters always come up with new ponzi and pyramid schemes. Dictionary definition for Ponzi schemes is “a swindle in which a quick return, made up of money from new investors, on an initial investment lures the victim into much bigger risks.”

www.Earn45k.com from a company called Cosmos Infomedia of Mumbai, India is definitely a scam. Cosmos Infomedia calls itself “The Home Based Business Development And Research Centre”. Earn45K is a mail order businees scheme, where you will have to first register as an employee of the company and then send out mail for promotions of products. The company says it will train its newly registered employees and then send them all the required materials for sending out promotions by postal mail. All this is possible only after you send them the Rs.586 ($14) to enroll your name in their employees list. As per the info posted on www.earn45k.com,

First of all, it is not a company at all.
A company always provides Telephone number to answer any query.
In this case no Telephone number is given only mobile number is provided which is always switched off or not attended by any one.
A company has a well furnished office where a client can visit for any official purpose. Above mentioned address is located in remote area and that too in a residential premises wherein a drawing room is cut in 5′x6′ area called cosmos info media Pvt.ltd.
Besides the door is closed nobody opens it unless some family member of that A.K. JHA who owns a room comes to the house.
WITH THE ABOVE MENTIONED FACTS THIS IS A FAKE COMPANY.

Beware all …The site www.earn45k.com is definitely a FAKE.
Also no such address exists in Bhandup.

REGARDING THE WORK: – As the company is dealing with different types of MAIL ORDER PUBLICATIONS & BOOKS, everyday it is recruiting people for work. After becoming the registered Employee of the company, you\’ll be provided with the necessary material & kit, which you\’ll need to start MAIL ORDER BUSINESS (MOB) with that kit, you\’ll be given some important papers forms etc. and all the information regarding how to start MOB. All you\’ve to do is write/type something about the company\’s product, so that its demand increases, these letters are called PROMOTIONAL LETTERS. The company will provide all the information to write the promotional letter (You don’t have to write the promotional letter every time, you can take a photocopy of one successful promotional letter), after writing the promotional letter you have to attach the promotional letters with the other papers and forms of the company, put it in the envelope write the address and post it.

All this information has the makings of a classic scam. Many people across the world have already fallen for this and lost their money. A google search will come up with many blogs and websites explaining how earn45k scams everyone. one such forum where i found affected people discussing about this scam is on Rediff.com.

Another indication that this is a fraud scheme is the contact info on the WhoIS page of www.earn45k.com. Here is the contact info from the WhoIs page of www.earn45k.com

Mumbai probably had 6 digits for a local landline number more than 5 years ago. This contact information is completely different from the contact address on the earn45k.com website.

If making money was really so easy, wouldn’t everyone just do this and nothing else. There are no shortcuts to making money in this world and if someone is promising you exactly that then they are in the business of scamming people. Please stay away from all these scam sites and save your hard earned money.

Due to the extremely large number of people asking for help and recourse action in the comments section, I would suggest everyone who is a victim of the Earn45 fraud, to call the Indian Cyber Crime Division at 1800 209 6789. Even though Cosmos Infomedia may not fully be online based, the fact that they are using their website www.earn45k.com to promote their fraudulent schemes does constitute as a cyber crime. I’ve also heard from some folks that going to your nearest police station and filing a complaint may help. If any of you has already tried this, please share your experiences in the comment section so that other readers and victims of this fraud can also benefit from your experience.

Guys,

Stop asking if this is a scam or not. This blog entry clearly states that this is a scam and also presents some real proof to prove the company is fake and is running a scam. If you’ve already sent them the money, look at how you can stop the payment by checking with your banks. If you cannot get the bank to stop, try taking the matter to the cops.

If you download the registration form which is in MS Word format, it states that its been saved last by person named ‘Kayzad Sepoy’.
Google that name and you get links to linkedin and xing. You can see his photograph there. Seems his business is to manage websites.

No legitimate company can give away such huge commissions just for propagating its name. It is against advertisement ethics, and only ten to fifteen percent of the Proposed net profits can be earmarked for advertisement.This company is not carrying out any business, no products to sell, and this is a real humbock, how can a company give away just for posting information about it. I received this message today from +919322908980 when i tried to contact this number atleast for 1 hour the number is busy. Guys just remember one thing people who are typing here saying “its is working” never responds to the affected guys. So, its completely a fake member assosiated with this bogus company. Do you have the DD number? Contact the issuing bank with the DD number and ask them to block it. You can then get the money back in your account.

This address is SO WRONG because the pin code of bhandup is not 400042 i live in Mulund which has a pincode of 400080 . These people are a bunch on CHEATERS WATCH OUT ”
But 400 042 is indeed the pincode of Bhandup. You check this in India post website. But I do not know about the company.

Even though Cosmos Infomedia may not fully be online based, the fact that they are using their website http://www.earn45k.com to promote their fraudulent schemes does constitute as a cyber crime. I’ve also heard from some folks that going to your nearest police station and filing a complaint may help. If any of you has already tried this, please share your experiences in the comment section so that other readers and victims of this fraud can also benefit from your experience.

Hello All

I had sent the DD on november 25 2008 and after 20 days I kept on calling the number that is mentioned in the site which is 09821314998.but for some days no one picking the call but on one day some lady picked the call and said that as the kit is in shortage so please wait till january 15 2009.And I asked her I was callling on this number than why no one was picking the call.She said that to call between 10am to 2pm IST on Weekdays only.After that no one will pick the call.So after soe days again I confirmed to call them twice between 10am to 2pm and I found that they were picking the call and were also giving replies to your query.

And the thing is that what she said is true because today I got the kit at 1501hrs on 5/1/09.So i dont think they are fake,But still lets see in the future.

Hi This Is mahesh from hyderabad, 2 months back ive got an SMS from earn45k.com, so ive gone thru the website, initally i thought it’s a fair deal/business & was planning to make join my wife. But to Justify & to make it sure for myself ive sent say round 8 query’s to Cosmos Infomedia on 01/01/2009, & a reminder mail later on, but till as on date i was not replied……. & a few calls were made on 05/02/09 & 06/02/09…. but was not repled fairly over phone.. they were just telling it’s a mail order business, you’ll be getting the Kit after making the necessary payment thru DD, payable strictly at MUMBAI & can start the business from home & asking me to send the DD as soon as possible, coz the DD charges are going to hike, so ive searched abt company in detail thru google & the hidden things are coming out now. I’ve confusion in the Mind of Mind & in the Heart of Heart, IS IT A FAIR DEAL TO CONTINUE WITH COSMOS INFOMEDIA..

I have sent the money last month and have not heard from them since. I have tried the tracker but it says my DD has not been received. But checking with the bank, I found that my dd has already been cashed. Initially when I tried the tracker, they told me that the details would be available only after 20 days. But now its almost a month and they still tell me there are no details and that too after they have collected my money. I cannot even ask for my money back, since they have not sent me any kit and even refuse to acknowledge that my DD has been received.

Please, stay away from these people. I have already lost my money. I would not want others also to loose theirs.

guys,,,,,i was also fooled by em…
now i hav an idea so that v can trap em …so please i request to the ppl who stay near by that area in mumbai to go to dtdc office which is havin pin code 400082.
and check the officer of that dtdc co.
the address provided by the cosmos is wrong .so i think those ppl come and collect the cheque from the corrier office as they only mention dtdc corriers so i think the fraudester is some one from dtdc co only..so further explanation of my idea n secret plan please contact me..
