Christie’s South Asian modern and contemporary art sale ay NY on March 20 will feature works of artists from various countries including M.F. Husain. M.F. Husain’s ‘Ganga-Jamuna’ painting is starring at Christie’s Art Gallery’s sale on 20 March 2008.
Here you can see the irony of it all - M. F. Husain is glorified for intentionally hurting Hindus’ sentiments, while Sanatan’s Editor is arrested for causing communal disharmony for publishing a comment containing a commonly used and harmless word.

During the last auction at Christie’s and Sotheby’s, when we requested Hindus around NY to rally around to protest outside the art galleries, there was not enough time to protest. M.F Husain’s life time achievement award canceled !new!
The Bhoruka Charitable Trust, Rajasthan, India had arranged a ceremony to felicitate anti Hindu Indian painter M. F. Husain at Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Dubai, on March 15. 18 eminent Indian artists flew to Dubai to felicitate Husain. (Ref: News Report)
The Hindu Janajagruti Samiti had launched an intensive campaign along with website campaign against the awarding of award to Husain and given strong indications. The Marathi Dainik ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ gave good support to this campaign. The Bhoruka Charitable Trust, Rajasthan, canceled this life time achievement award to Husain on account of the protest and informed the Samiti through a fax sent by Mr. Amitava Banerjee, Executive Director of Bhoruka Charitable Trust.

He shows Prophet’s Mother, his own mother, daughter, all the Muslim personalities fully clothed, but at the same time Hindus and Hindu deities along with Hitler are shown naked.
