The Movie:
Inspired from Telugu hit Anukokunda Oka Roju, this movie is a mystery revolving around a murder on a night of Sunday. A girl named Seher (Ayesha Takiya) whose a dubbing artist is a simple girl, one day she decides to have a night out, but on that particular night few incident occurred which cause trouble to our sweet and charming Seher.
Sunday is a pure carbon copy of Telugu Movie Anukokunda Oka Roju (2005), with a tinge of Bollywood Masala added to it, to perfectly fit into the Bollywood movies genre.
Ayesha takia has done her role with ease. She lives that character rather than just acting and she must be praised for her impeccable innocent performance through out the movie.
Anjana sukhani does her role well and is also supported by Murli sharma, Vrajesh Hirjee and Ali asgar who add up the characters in the movie.
To start off, Sunday unlike being inspired from any hollywood movie has been inspired from a Telugu Movie called Anukokunad Okaroju. The telugu movie was a bit hit in Andhra pradesh. Sunday has been made by the same person who made Golmaal and Zameen. Sunday manages to stike the right balance between comdey and suspense and this perfect combination keeps the audience up !
On the whole, Sunday is a well made entertainer that has the potential to click with the movie goers. It also has the advantage of having open weeks ahead, with no major competition till February 15th. The songs, screen play and the story add up to the success of the movie.

A lady is murdered at the very outset and the pieces of the confusing puzzle are fixed in an interesting and stylish way. Sunday has a quality of suspecting all the characters of the film as murder suspects and this has been done is a well carved way.
She is actually little forgetful in nature and this all creates trouble, then comes Mr. Cop ie. Rajvee (Ajay Devgan) who is just confuse if this girl is the suspect or not. Anyways, after that night incident, what she find that she being chased by some mobster who thinks that she is trouble for them because of that Sunday. Morever, we have Arshand Warsi (He is cab driver, actually gave was hired on that sunday) comes up , along with Irfan Khan now and then and makes some nuisanse. It could be solved easily of our COP can find all about that missing Sunday of Seher (Ayesha).
