Summary of Traffic Rules

Please find below, summary of important rules.

1. At the traffic signal junctions:

a. Go ahead only when the signal turns green for you.

b. If the signal is red, you must stop, even for a left turn.

c. If you see the signal turn from green to yellow you should slow down and stop, unless you were very close to the signal and stopping suddenly would cause an accident. You must never speed up after you see the yellow signal.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What’s going to happen just by observing traffic rules? There are so many big issues out there!
  • This is a Bottom-up approach and will take a long time. Why don’t you have a Top down approach, i.e. shouldn’t the governing authorities be forced to do their job properly first?
  • Why don’t you resolve this issue with xyz road / square / traffic signals?
  • Ok, I have decided to follow rules 100%. Why is the sticker needed?

Popular Myths

  • We save Time by having liberty to break rules.
  • It is unsafe to stop at the signals!
  • It is Ok to turn left! It is ok to ignore signal before 8 am / after ….!

Popular Excuses

  • I want to stop at Red signal, but vehicles behind me, force me to break signal.
  • I have a driver. My vehicle is also used by others at times. So I can’t join.
  • Ok, I am convinced. But, right now I am so much into work, I will join next month (or after March pressures …)
  • What are the Rules to be followed? I don’t know the rules.

Starting to hate ICICI Bank

I have had so many bad experiences with this Bank in the last month itself that all my good experiences of last 5 years are no longer relevant…

They had made it totally impossible to open a savings account in the bank. They rejected my credit card application without giving a specific reason, as it’s their company policy to not reveal the reason of rejection. The DMAT services are totally crawling at the height of trading session. The Gurgaon branch is always so crowded that you wound find your typical sabzi mandi more accessible. And they hate small companies wanting to open a current account in the company. I have received so many complaints about their services related to NRI accounts from people totally disappointed with the company.

LIST OF COMPLAINTS AGAINST ICICI BANK

BEWARE OF ICICI BANK

This bank is the biggest defaulter, biggest cheater, and operates with no business ethics. Thousands of cases are filed against them in various consumer courts across the country.

Never give them blank application forms with your signature if you are availing loan, credit card facility, or opening any account with them. They promise different terms verbally and then they will fill different terms in the blank form containing your signature. After this they will force you to agree to their terms of higher interest rates and tenure as you have already signed those papers. Never give them undated signed blank cheques. They will misuse the same, put different dates, and you will end up running to consumer courts as thousands of sufferers are already doing so. There have been cases where they had withdrawn the loan money from consumer’s account using his signed blank cheques.
